Magnetic Mash Up: Busy Creating Buzz

In Las Vegas, Nightlife, Public Relations, Restaurants

There is no such thing as a sleepy summer in Las Vegas or at the Magnetic offices.

Here is a quick glimpse of just a few of the things we have been up to lately:

  • The Wiener’s Circle, the famous hot dog house from Chicago, opened at Red Rock Resort to rave reviews from Vegas Seven and Vegas Chatter, among others.
  • Many of our favorite DJs all converged on Las Vegas – spinning at Marquee and TAO during EDC Week. Stayed tuned for a Forbes interview with Jason Strauss on what it takes to run a successful nightclub.
  • Just Food For Dogs will open its third location in Southern California in just a few weeks, and Racked has all of the details.
  • L Makeup Institute founder Lissette Waugh was featured in Vegas Magazine, Where Magazine and Total Beauty, keeping Vegas and beyond beautiful one makeup tip at a time.
  • Khloe Kardashian turned 30 at TAO and People got the scoop.
  • Carmine’s celebrated one year in Las Vegas and USA Today made sure readers knew about the 125,000 meatballs they have served. Some lucky writers were treated to a special delivery of an anniversary meatball.
  • TAO threw the third annual World’s Largest Bachelorette Party with reality star Brandi Glanville, talk show host Wendy Williams and a gaggle of girls made pretty by Benefit Cosmetics.
  • Hussong’s Cantina introduced a new margarita menu.  With sips like the Cotton Candy Rita and the PB&J we know what bar we will be bellying up to this summer.
  • Andrew McCarthy (yes, THAT Andrew McCarthy for you Pretty in Pink fans) got behind the wheel of a Ferrari at Dream Racing and his AOL show Breaking Boundaries was there to capture his need for speed.
  • MTO Café and Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub were honored in Las Vegas Weekly’s Best of Vegas issue.
  • Due Forni’s to-die-for chef’s platter and Strip House’s house cured beef jerky were featured on Eater’s Meat Week extravaganza, while Megan Romano of Chocolate & Spice gave Las Vegas Review Journal readers tips for making fair food at home.
